A garden of carefully intertwined flowers that bloom timelessly in a space full of color. This garden greets you with the first notes of fresh citrus and lush Ylang-ylang. Bulgarian Rose softens the generous doses of white flower absolutes: sensual Jasmine, luxurious Nard and Orange Blossom.
The rich essence of these natural absolutes gives rise to a rich and dynamic floral fragrance. The base presents itself enriched, with creamy patchouli and amber nuances that merge with soft sweet woody notes. It all started when I had the occasion to explore the Louvre in Paris in 2020.
There, I came across a section that I had not had the opportunity to discover until then, despite having visited the Louvre on multiple occasions. This section was dedicated to the Persian empires and their history. It was a real eye opener.
I was mesmerized by the grandeur, the statues and the cultural heritage that spanned over 5000 years. My interest grew as I devoured books and eventually came across images of the palace known as Golestan in Tehran. This palace, also referred to as the Rose Garden Palace, was erected in the 16th century and its ornamental and figurative tile paintings became a source of pure inspiration.
Golestan translates literally as "city of flowers" or "flower garden". Although I have not yet had the opportunity to travel to Iran so far, I have created a fragrance that transports me there. It is an invitation to inhale the perfumed air of a flower garden, in total freedom."
