If Andy Tauer's masterpiece, L'Air du Desert Marocain, evokes the open spaces of an immense desert sky above our heads, its follow-up, Au Coeur du Desert, represents its heart: a core of silence that defies gravity and merges with the earth. Although it shares with its predecessor the characteristic dry crunch of cedar and resin, Au Coeur is much more intimate overall, with a gentle blend that envelops rather than highlights. Au Coeur du Desert is a luxurious extract that harnesses a more intense concentration of the master ingredients that brought the original work to life: cilantro, cumin, patchouli, cedar, ambergris and resin.
To our senses, Au Coeur du Désert exhibits the characteristic softness of patchouli, warm woods and a larger dose of ambergris, whose warm, golden salinity clearly highlights all the other notes. In terms of texture, Au Coeur resembles a dense silk compared to L'Air's smoke.
