Tiger’s Nest is a fragrance inspired by the Taktsang Buddhist monastery in Bhutan, known as “the Tiger’s Nest,” perched on the cliffs of the Himalayas. Memo’s olfactory proposal seeks to translate that spiritual and majestic environment through an intense, deep, and enveloping composition. The opening is vibrant and unique: absinthe and aldehydes provide a green and sharp touch, while lime introduces a fresh and luminous spark that gives a false sense of lightness. It is only an initial illusion, as the perfume quickly takes a dense turn. The heart is the soul of the fragrance: pure incense, dark but not overwhelming, accompanied by the warmth of amber and the spicy texture of saffron. Floral notes like ylang-ylang, rose, and osmanthus act as soft layers that smooth and enrich the transition without feminizing the whole. In the base, papyrus brings a dry, earthy, and somewhat vintage air. Vanilla and Tolu balm envelop everything with a resinous warmth, almost mystical, reminiscent of ancient temples, aged books, and resins burning in rituals.
